Thalia nodded to his bare talons, noting that he was unequipped for the first time. "We shall have you fitted for battleclaws when we return."

Sentes nodded and grabbed onto the handle of the heavy basket, though not entirely fond of Safiya ordering him like she was his superior. Initially, Sentes didn't have any particular dislike of Safiya personally, just only the fact she was a mask owl. But the fact that she was receiving privileges only Tyto Albas should get is what made him hate her the most. She was a mockery of everything that the Pure Ones were about, the very fact she was of such a high position was an insult to the ideas of the Pure Ones.

They flew hard and arrived at the Pure Ones hideout. While another Pure Guard fitted claws on Sentes, Safiya escorted the three baskets, one by one, to Tutti, who nodded and let out the owlets in the kindly-grandmum kind of manner she had. When she returned Sentes, Thalia and Katara were ready for her. "Let's go."

(MysteryStar, that is pretty much god-modding. I will let it go again since it is small, but saying that other people's characters were waiting for her when they perhaps weren't ready yet, still counts.)
Thalia arrived at the headquarters rather ragged and out-of-breath, due to the difficulty of long periods of flight. They were greeted and she had given orders for their battleclaws to be sharpened and fitted. The owlets were led to an older owl named Tutti, whom would take care of them in the mean time.
Thalia stood in wait of the others, flexing her newly sharpened battleclaws with a satisfied grin. Her mind wandered to Sentes once more, how he enticed her. How she secretly longed for him despite her devotion to her current mate. She sighed, eager to speak to Katara. She above all would understand her feelings.
(OOC: Speaking of Katara, we should let Spice post before we continue. She has already missed enough in her absence.)

Sentes was glad to be rid of the owlets and went ahead to have himself fitted for Battleclaws. It had been some time since he was fitted for some, and he had forgot how uncomfortable it could having those things strapped onto his talons. Unlike some of the other Pure Ones, he didn't use the coal-infused Battleclaws, as if he was to become the next High Tyto, he would want to be as perfect as possible and those other Battleclaws had a tendency to deform ones talons.

(I'M BACK!!!!!!!! I HAVE COME HERETH!!!!!! I had pneumonia for a week, but I'm better now. Thank you for pausing the thread for me.)
Asmira paced back and forth within her cave. She missed the trees, and her family. The little owlet sighed unhappily and went to the edge of the cave, staring off into the inky expanse. Day was almost finished, and soon the Pure Ones wold come a calling for Asmira. She watched as the stars slowly blinked to life, their small light giving her some comfort. Her world had seemed so dark lately, and the stars seemed to be her only friend.
Katara stood at her Tytoness's right shoulder, looking like a younger shadow. She didn't know what to think of this new owl. He seemed to value purity, but he hadn't treated Safiya very well. Safiya had always been loyal to the Pure Cause, and did well training the owlets. This newcomer seemed pushy and full of himself, and her Tytoness had handled him elegantly and well.

Sentes had heard quite a lot about Commander Katara, but this was the first time he had seen her in person and she was quite a a model of the species, almost of the same statue of her highness Thalia. In fact, the two looked like they could have been sisters in another life. "It quite a honor to meet you, madame Commander. I've certainly heard of the many great thing you have done for the betterment of the Tyto species and that furthering of the Pure One's objectives," Sentes remarked as he bowed to the Commander. He was fairly certain she didn't know of him, although technically his uppermost superior in the military, second in line only to Thalia, it was highly unlikely his work would have reached her. Most of his orders were given through a number of her subordinates and most didn't carry any insignia of recognition beyond his immediate supervisor.

Katara dipped her head, her onyx eyes never leaving his face. She did not trust this smooth talking, Pureness obsessed owl. "A pleasure to meet you," she began. "As you've said, I hold the position of Supreme Commander of the Pure Ones. I've heard tales of your exploits. Would you care to tell me of some of them?" she asked.
"Oh, how rude of me not to ask! Who are you?"

"Why certainly ma'am, my name is Sentes, though I hardly expect you would be familiar with. My exploits are just one of hundreds towards the Pure Ones, but I certainly do my best to promote the spread and domination of the Pure One and it's ideology," Sentes began to explain, intensively watching Katara. It was nice to meet an owl of rank who was tainted like Safiya was, so at least not all of the Pure One hierarchy had been tainted yet. "Most of my time is spent far way, off living amongst the dirty owls in the various kingdoms. I am a spy, I work my charm to learn all I can of the various kingdoms and send my information back here for the benefit of the Pure Ones. Just today I returned to inform that I may have located the turnfeather Pure One Prue within the kingdom of Ambala." His voice pepped up, obviously pleased with himself for bringing Thalia such valuable information. "But I can't say any of my exploits are worthy of your ear slits, you've seen the glory of war for yourself, nothing in my experience can compare to such."

(Not in the creative mood, sorry)
Katara dipped her head again. "Well, welcome Senetes. Your exploits seem wondrous, and no doubt useful to our cause." This owl seemed to be loyal to the Pure Ones cause, so Katara thought he might be useful. "Tell me, have you any new information for us?"

"At the moment, only a little, due to being sidetracked by the arrival of the turnfeather in Ambala. Nonetheless, I'm fairly certain I should have a complete idea on what kind of resistance we may expect in the event the Pure Ones decide to conquer the kingdom within a week or so once I return to my post after we sort out this mess with Prue," Sentes explained to his superior owl, maintaining his head in a bowed position of respect. "But, sufficient to say, we should not find it a challenge to bring the kingdom to its' knees. The owls there are not warriors, at least not the majority of them. They also falsely assume the Desert of Kuneer is a large of enough barrier to keep them safe from us."

Katara nodded slowly, taking in what her inferior was saying. "I cannot wait for your full report," she said. Her onyx black eyes glittered like diamonds and her talons gleamed from within their smithing claws. Her feathers were pure white like snow, and her face disk was purest second only to the High Tytoness.
(OOC: I haven't been in a very creative mood for a while, sorry about how short t was)

"It is quite an honor to serve under an owl of such pureness as yourself and of our lady Thalia," Sentes remarked and in this case, it wasn't flattery on purpose but true sincerity. He was only content to serve a Tyto Alba and Katara was one of the purest in all of the Pure Ones, second only to Thalia. She would be one he would make sure to remain on the good side of. "Unfortunately, I cannot promise a swift report, as Thalia has requested me to join you in apprehending the fugitive Prue and, depending on how long it takes us to get back to Ambala, it might take some time to track Prue down, assuming she doesn't stay in one place for any amount of time."

Thalia nodded a silent greeting as her friend, Katara, approached. As expected from owls of lower rank such as Sentes, a bow of respect was in order for the approaching commander. Thalia watched contently as he explained his news to the Barn owl.
Thalia felt a delightful quiver run up her spine as he complemented their beauty and purity, her gizzard singing for his attention. She hated to admit it to even herself, but Thalia felt a twinge of jealousy tug at her mind as the two conversed. She wanted Sentes to herself. She silently scolded herself, get a hold of yourself Thalia. You are better than this. This is your best friend you are thinking of. And Glaux, you already have a mate.
She felt torn between her mate, whom she was loyal to and whom she loved and respected as her mate, and this young handsome Barn owl, Sentes. Perhaps Katara would understand.
"I know Prue." she said, entering the conversation once more. "She isn't one to stay in one place, she is probably already safely tucked away in that stupid little Tree. I suggest we leave as soon as possible, travel quickly, and if we are fortunate enough to come across her, to not make the same mistake that so many soldiers had before. She is a dangerous fugitive."
"But may I speak to Katara privately for a moment?" casting a glance towards her good friend. "I have some things would like to discuss with her alone."
