(Yes, please no god-modding. It happens a lot and it gets extremely annoying.)
Thalia reluctantly handed the owlet over to Safiya with a frown, dipping by the small owl's ear to whisper a quick "I am sorry you had to witness that, child." She eyed Safiya with a disdainful look, but remembering that this owl had been loyal to her many times, she decided she would let this particular happening slip.
She landed on a branch where Safiya had dove to, and with amazement she watched as the Barn owl sadly lowered a single flower on to the dead mother's body and wept. Thalia gave her a moment of silence before stepping in. "Safiya, do you mind if I come in?" she said gently.

Safiya gave a squeal of surprise and jumped. Turning, she saw Thalia in front of her. "Of course, come in. Thalia, I don't know what's wrong. I kill and then I feel sorry. That's not Pure One behavior! And now..." she hiccoughed. "I've got to teach that owlet when I killed her mother! How could I do that? I... I don't know what to do, Thalia."

Meanwhile, Asmira was pacing back and forth within her temporary cave, her mind whirling. What to do, what to do, she thought over and over again. I could try to kill the murderer now, she thought. No, then the Leader would hurt me, maybe even kill me. I could try to escape, she thought, But then they'll know that I can fly, and that wouldn't give me the chance to avenge my mother.
The little owlet paced back and forth, though it was surprising a furrow hadn't formed yet from her pacing. I guess I'll just have to go along for now, Asmira thought.
I will just have to bide my time.

Thalia lay a sympathetic wing over Safiya. "The owlet has witnessed something no one should have to witness, Safiya. She is scared of you. That is why I will take her under my wing for a while, and maybe once she settles into the regime of the Pure Ones, then you will train her like the others."
"You needn't feel bad, she was a traitor of our kind. She abused her purity and she needed to pay. It is just.. how you carried it out. It was..." she trailed off, trying to expel the horrific image of the dead owl from her mind.
Thalia straightened herself and turned to leave the hollow. "Is that clear?" she said with a disdainful look over her shoulder. With that, the High Tytoness glided from the tree, staggering slightly.
What have you done?
* * *
"Hello?" Thalia sent gently, peering into the mouth of the cave. "Owlet, are you here?"

Safiya nodded. "Thank you, your Pureness. I appreciate it."

Sentes panted heavily, his wings ached from non-stop flight. For hours now the Barn Owl had flown, from Ambala all the way back to the home of the Pure Ones, with urgent news for the High Tyto. He had pushed himself to go as fast as he possibly could, but now he was paying for it. "Damn it, I need to work out more..." he grumbled to himself just as the Pure One Headquarters finally came into view. "Thank Tyto, I can't imagine having to fly any farther,' he mumbled and spotted what looked like the High Tyto flying up from one of the hollows. "My... huh.... most honorable... huh... High Tyto. I come straight from the forest of Ambala with news that I hope pleases your ear slits." He called out to her as he struggled to catch up with her as she flew to a nearby cave.
Sentes greatly admired the High Tyto, she was by far one of the most beautiful Barn Owls he had ever seen and was more than worth of her place as head of the Pure Ones. Sometimes he could swear staring into her face was like staring into the face of the divine. It was her that Sentes desired above all else, to sit beside her as her mate, to stand above all other owls all across the kingdoms. It was this reason alone that he pushed himself so hard, working to the best of his abilities to provide for the expansion and ultimate domination of the Tyto Alba across the land. It was not easy, especially since he had to live amongst some of the most ugly and despicable owls ever created. But it payed off in the end, allowing him to learn the secrets that could bring about the downfall of the kingdoms. Today, however, he had some lesser news, but one that was nonetheless important. A Pure One traitor had been spotted in Ambala and he knew that the High Tyto would desire to know it's location. No owl ever betrayed the Pure Ones and lived to tell about it, no one.

"She's busy. I'll listen, though, Sentes." replied Safiya, leaning in to hear.

Sentes turned and glared at Safiya. He dare she speak to him? She was not an Alba, in fact, he thought she was one of the ugliest of the Barn Owls, just slightly better than the Sooty Owls. "Did you hear me address you?" He asked her, poking his beak in her face. "No, so I would suggest you mind your own business," he spat at her and turned away. Sentes had grown up with the Pure Ones, so as a result he was by far one of the most radical amongst them, only willing to accept Tyto Albas as true Pure Ones and seeing the others as being as bad as a Barred or Spotted Owl.

Safiya drew herself up tall, dwarfing the Tyto Alba both in size and manner. "If you have been too busy licking the impure's feet to notice what has been going on in the hideout, you low-life lump of seagull splat, you would have noticed that the previous High Tyto allowed me to pass the Code of Purity, and her Pureness Thalia has kept the order. I daresay I am purer than you, snivelling crow poop."
(OOC: Wow! Lovely first impression! xD)

Sentes turned to look back at Safiya again, not fazed by her little speech. He was far too full of himself to let such empty words affect him. "Convince yourself all you want, but in the end, we both know you're no better than an ugly Great Horned Owl. All you can do is feed off what little crumbs us pure owls give you. But you can never be better than me, no matter how far you can go. I will always be a Barn Owl, you will always be a Masked Owl, that is a fact that will never change." Sentes replied to her, a smile forming on his face.

"Hello, Sentes." Thalia said elegantly, stepping between the two owls calmly. "Safiya, would you mind keeping an eye on the owlets for me? I have important things to discuss with Sentes. Thank you, dear." she nodded slightly in dismiss and fixed her onyx black eyes on the handsome Barn owl. She felt a stirring in her gizzard, but she shooed it away.
She was loyal to her mate. But Sentes, he was something special. She pushed these thoughts and feelings aside, turning her attention to the task at hand. "What news do you bring?"

Safiya muttered a swearword, most likely at Sentes, and walked over to the owlets. At least she had verbally beaten him, and that made a mental victory. His puny frinking brain power would never compare with hers! Heck, you got Pure Ones and then you get the thick ones who wanted to mate with the High Tyto. Safiya wasn't stupid. She knew what he wanted.
