"My majesty, I have reason to believe that a Pure One turnfeather has recently arrived in the Kingdom of Ambala and, based on descriptions that I have been given, it may in fact been the owl named Prue," Sentes explained after he bowed to the High Tyto. "My sources confirm a Barn Owl was spotted in the area around a city named Pinop. As well both know, Ambala is home to a very, very small Barn Owl population and Prue was originally born there. I decided that whether or not it was her was irrelevant and flew here immediately to inform you, knowing you would be please to exact vengeance on an owl who would dare betray us." Sentes smiled and bowed again to await the words of her grace. It was almost painful to watch him suck up to the High Tyto.

Safiya jumped in. "I will go apprehend and dispose of her, your Pureness." Before sentes could make any comments about eavesdropping, she put on a wry smile, pointed to her head and said "Barn Owl."

Thalia nodded thoughtfully, Prue was one of the few owls that had been courageous or skilled enough to escape the Pure Ones and survive afterwards, she had become somewhat of an obsession to the High Tytoness and any information on her was greatly valued in her eyes. "Very good, Sentes." Thalia trilled with a smile of approval for the soldier.
"You shall receive a reward for your efforts, I will see to it." she said, with a wink. Again, she felt a tugging at not just her gizzard, but her heart, as if her heart strings were being plucked at like a harp.

"It is of my most utmost pleasure to provide this information to you. I would suggest sending a far more... capable owl to handle this manner, Prue is not a simple owl, she is both a former Pure One and a Guardian of Ga'Hoole. She will not be easy to take down and return here for punishment." Sentes remarked, glancing slight towards Safiya with a slight grin on his face. Admitting, it would be wonderful if Prue ended up killing Safiya, but at the moment it was far more important to retrieve Prue. The wealth of secrets about the Guardians she could give outweighed any personal interest Sentes had in getting rid of Safiya.

"I remain firm that I am the best owl for the job. I have served you faithfully in the past, Thalia, and I will take down Prue like a week-old owlet."

(OOC: Can Safiya actually catch Prue and then she escapes from a Pure Guard? Because Sentes is going to be three-quarters dead after Safiya 'disposes of him' as greathorned put it?)

Thalia cast a sideways glance towards Safiya. She was well aware that Sentes and Safiya had their evident disagreements, but even though Safiya was less pure, she still trusted her. She was an able fighter and a loyal Pure One. "No, Safiya should be fit to fight her. But not alone. She has downed many Pure Ones before and I will not allow it to happen again."
"That is why I suggest all three of us go, and Commander Katara. We will return the owlets to the headquarters and set off, if you are all in favor of this of course."
(OOC: Catch Prue? Hmm... it is unlikely if it was only Safiya. But with all four of the owls I mentioned, then sure. But she will escape.)

((OOC: Actually, it seems Gabjas has ideas for Sentes, so he might not get 'killed off' after it. It will depend of how the story plays out.))

(OOC: Yeah, I would rather Sentes not get killed. But it is up to greathorned, seeing as it is his character as stake here.)

(Safiya was going to attack him and think he was dead, but is not dead through sheer stubbornness. Now they will have to split up and have a signal to summon eachother if they find Prue because safiya has to find Dartmont on her own and then Sentes flies over and sees, duh duh DUH!)

"Yes, of course your highness, if that is your command," Sentes replied and glanced towards Safiya. He would have to swallow his disdain for his this one time, as we refused to allow his own feelings to put this mission at risk, especially since her highness had placed her trust in them. Sentes knew only a little information about Prue. Sine he spent most of his time away in other kingdoms, he rarely knew about what happens here at the Headquarters. He had just been given word to keep an eye out for Prue in case she tried to flee into Ambala. Lucky enough, she had made the foolish decision of going there and now she was going to pay for it. Sentes was almost giddy with excitement over seeing the traitor pay for her betrayal.
((Actually, he doesn't learn about her and Dartmont until later, when they are officially mates, so don't worry about it. That's what's happening in our other thread.))

"Alright. Let's go return the owlets." Safiya said, sniggering at the sullen tone Sentes was using. (alright, he can try to blackmail her there.)

Thalia took wing and returned to where all the owlets had gathered, they mostly seemed content. A few appeared to be on the verge of tears, which was understandable, but otherwise they had put up rather well in each other's company.
"Owlets, it is time to fly to the headquarters. Get into one of the baskets please." she said gently, leading them with her wing to a few of the carrying baskets used to fly the owlets.

Safiya took the heaviest, signalling sternly to Sentes to take the next heaviest to ease the High Tytoness' less-than-perfect flight. She knew he would be warring over his dislike to help her and his desire to please Thalia.

"Well then, my lady, if you have no further need of me at the moment I do believe I will need my own pair of Battleclaws to join you on this mission," Sentes remarked to the High Tyto, bowing again in respect. Due to the fact that he had to blend in with the other owls, Sentes had no Battleclaws of his own. He did know how to use them, however, but he was far away from being proficient in using them. "But if you request my presence further, I am happy to fulfill the request."
