" Well that's our best bet, lets get moving " He replied taking wing on the still night air. By the time the sun was coming up they had entered silvervail. Although he was familiar with silverevail Nebulous didn't know were this community of spotted owl lived " You better take the lead " he told Aaron who was flying beside him, he slowed to let Aaron continue leading the way.

Aaron had rested at the aforementioned area after a search and rescue mission, he knew the place well. One owl in particular he knew would help him find Phuana. A spotted owl named Fin, who lived not to far from there. Finding the oak, he flew up to the hollow's entrance calling. "Hello Fin! You still up?" A male owl flew out, crying "Yes I am now!" Having displayed his annoyance, he got to business. "Now why'd ya wake me up?" After explaining the situation, Aaron was glad when Fin was able to tell them about the next hit. "Phuana lives in a pine west of here, I'll lead you to her. Hope nothin' happen'd to the poor bird!"

Nebulous wasn't the most patient of owls " Sorry to brake up this reunion, but an owls life is at stake here " At that they took off west to were Phauna would live, and could only hope they made it there before the assailants. They would likely have to fight these birds in the end whoever they were

"I said I'd show you didn't I?" Fin flew into the night leading them into the night .not too far away they began to hear noises. "Lt's go!"

Nebulous gave him a thank full nod and dived in the direction of the noise. "Wow, wow, i don't want any trouble" she told the owls, Nebulous suddenly realized they were in battle armor, suddenly Nebulous swiveled his head to pick up faint wing beats, he turned to see a convoy of five owls he was horrified as he recognized the battle claws. " Listen those owls are going to kill you!! Hurry come with us!!! " he screeched, she lifted up in the air followed by the three owls. Nebulous suddenly went into a commanding attitude as he often did in danger. "Fin lead Phauna to your hollow, me and Aaron will cover you! " he screeched. Turning and nodding to Aaron they banked hard to face the owls, Nebulous felt honored to fight alongside his newest and only true friend " Lets do this " he called heading straight for the owls.

"I'm with ya!" Aaron yelled, swooping in beside the great grey, having simillair thought to nebulous. He had known this owl for two nights, but he was going to keep him alive and well to go back to that smith and or the tree whether he did or not. "A brother, not as a fellow guardian. As much as a brother as the one in the shadowforest." He thought. An owl swooped at him,and with a spin through the air he fought back, slashing at the bird with his own claws. A adversary had flew behind the slipgizzle. "Nebulous behind you! he cried.

Nebulous looked back and managed to dodge the incoming blow thanks to Aaron. Now that nebulous could get a better look these owls had all died their feathers, some green and blue others red and yellow... Nebulous locked battle talons with one of the, they grappled mid-air until Nebulous headbutted the owl. He saw out of the corner of his eye another one was heading for him at great speed, Nebulous was able to dodge the worst of it but the owl did catch his wing, it should only have been a scratch but with those barbed and serrated edges it left a deep wound, but he should still fly and fight.

Aaron felt the sting of a claw on his port wing. Aaron tumbled down quickly and despite the pain rose sharply to just underneath the red and gold owl. He slashed at the birds chest. He didn't do a lot of damage, but the sight of so much blood sent his opponent into a yeep state. Aaron continued to fight, soon only three where left.

dye and Aaron regrouped and so did the other owls, Nebulos darted forward before the owls could fully gather them selves. He plunged his battle claws deep into an owl with blue and green dye´s chest, instantly killing it, hereleasedd the limp body and it hurled toward the earth.

Aaron darted to the left, slicing his opponent off, the purple and green feather turned red with blood as their owner fell. he turned to face the final owl, "One left!" he hooted, charging rough the air claws out.

Together him and Aaron darted through the air ready to finish the battle , the owl realized it had lost and escaped through the forest " Well, we showed them " ,he cast a grin at Aaron before they turned and headed for fins hollow.

AAaron piped up as they flew. "You know, Im glad we are so handy with th battleclaws." He remarked.

"I don't now why, but trouble seems to follow where we go.!" He hooted with a laugh, thinking of everything that had happened after that night flight. They had arrived at Fin hollow.
