Grot-ghot in Tyto [Open]

(( All fine, I've hit a rough patch in life so i'm out of my wits at the moment))

Everest was a little nervous, he did not want the Queen to think he was an idiot for not knowing the rituals of the tree. He looked up at her and asked "Yes I've settled in quite nicely, thanks for asking" he said gaining a boost in confidence. "There's just one thing..." he hesitated "What do i do now?" he said with a slightly awkward 'i dunno' emotion.

[Felidae]

((Awh, hope things pick back up again for you (: ))

Verae chuckled, returning to her post behind her book and flipping it open. She scanned over her writing again, checking if there was anything for the new Snowy to do. Finally coming across what she wanted, she tapped the book with a satisfied smile.

"Well, you could always join a chaw," she said, closing her book once again, "There are quite a few places open in all of the chaws actually. You do know what a chaw is, right?"

Even though the Queen was pretty sure this owl new some things about the Tree, she wanted to make sure Everest was as comfortable as possible in his new home.

[Everest]

"I know my friend Sye is in the colliering chaw..." he said. "But that's the only one I've heard of so far"he said witha pause "My parents never mentioned them in their stories" He thought hard about this, would he be able to do the task required of him if he was put in a chaw? He couldn't answer that question. The only thing that came to him was 'I'll do my best'. Without hesitating he asked "Well, which chaw do you think best fits me?"

"Well, there are plenty of chaws available, it just depends on which one will suit your skills best."

Verae smiled when Everest mentioned the stories of the Guardians. They were magnificent ones, telling of the good days and the bad days of the Great Tree. Stories fascinated her, but none so much as the ones belonging to the Guardians. Her Guardians. She had yet to be mentioned in one of her own, but when she was immortalised in words... Verae couldn't even dare to think of what she had to do to get a story worthy of joining the many that accompanied the books in the Library.

"There's the Colliering, Weather interpretation, Blacksmith, Search-and-rescue, Navigation, Ga'Hoolology, Tracking, Healing and Combat," Verae started, "You can pick whichever one you like, as all are important as each other." She smiled, remembering something, "I do know a very nice owl, Feliah is her name, who flies in the Navigation Chaw. I'm sure she'd help you out if you picked there."

He looked at her, it looked as if she had just hatched a plan, he was confused but he had no other choice. "Sure, whatever you think is best" he got a little giddy and shivered. "Sorry, i'm still just really excited to be here"

((So sorry for the short post but my imagination is poop at the moment))

Verae chuckled at Everest, he was clearly extremely excited about being at the tree. Walking away from her book once again, she made her way to the front of her hollow.

"Follow me," she smiled, before spreading her wings wide, "I'll take you to meet Feliah, and then she can get you settled into working in the Chaw."

With that, the Queen flapped her wings, diving out of the hollow and towards her destination.

(It's alright, mine's been on the blink too xD I was thinking we could close this thread up now and start a new one for Everest joining the Navigation Chaw, meeting Feliah and getting used to the tree etc. It would also give other people a chance to join in and have Everest meet more... 'Alive' characters xD What do you think?)
