What to do? [Open]

Kyran heard what Tioren was murmering and a bit of anger flew across her face. Tioren too? Why can't anyone keep their beak shut about sight when I'm around? she thought. Kyran could not see anything! Even from the corner of her eyes. These thoughts were spoiling Kyran's hatchday. She cursed a bit in her mind and then decided to forgive and move on. They reached the breakfast hollow and walked in. Many owls had already gathered there. Tioren and Kyran took their usual place at Snara, the nest-maid snake. Kyran's face looked down in joy. "My favorite food! But how?" she said.

Tioren twittered happily, "Surprise one! I asked them to do it just for you, with some help- okay, mostly help. Alot of help. Oh, yeah, surprise one and a half..." She gave a bowl of nooties to Kyran. "A few of the others taught me how to preserve these. They're as fresh as you can get!" Tioren excitedly watched Kyran with her things. It was so nice to have friends that were so happy around!

Kyran turned around to give Tioren a hug. "How did you know? I love nooties! Thank you Tioren!" she said while Tioren seemed a bit surprised by Kyran's reaction. After giving her best and nicest friend in the whole world a hug, Kyran dove into her food. She ate her favorites. Roasted bat wings, fried vole, boiled mouse, milkberry nooties, and milkberry tea. She saved some of the nooties and politely gave some of her food to Tioren. She wanted her best friend to enjoy her favorite foods as well. Kyran then turned to Tioren again. "Tioren you're my best friend in the whole world and I'm not just saying that because you gave me these things. You really are! Thank you for all of this!" Kyran said. "Why don't we go back to my hollow and plan what we're going to do next?" she asked and flew off with Tioren.

Tioren smiled. "Well, you're my friend, too! We've both helped each other alot, so I don't blame you." She giggled and finished up her food, agreeing to go to Kyran's hollow. "Oh, I'd need to get something at my hollow first." Once they got close to Kyran's hollow, Tioren stayed to the side and went past it, heading to her hollow. She picked up what she needed and headed back to Kyran's. "Can you guess what I've got?"

Kyran tilted her head up to Tioren. "I don't really know. From what I feel from your vibration it's a box, but I guess you're reffering to what's in the box." Kyran said. Then she flew over to Tioren. "So, what is it?" she asked excited. Could it be...? Had Tioren remembered what Kyran had wanted? Kyran looked excitedly at the box. What could it be?

Tioren smiled as Kyran got excited. She opened the box and said, "First, I have a book from the Retreat. It took a while to get, yes. I also have some homemade battle gear- Well, sort of. It's like talon protection. It protects your talons on the go or in one place, comfortible and light weight the whole time. They're als water-proof. I have a set of red ones and a set of gold-silver ones. I hope you like them!" Her gizzard felt light again as Kyran inspected the items.

Kyran looked at Tioren in awe. "Thanks Ti! You're the greatest friend in the whole world! Although, hopefully you can read me that book because as you can see-" Kyran waved her wing in front of her face. "I"m blind." she said. Then she gave Tioren a big hug. "I love the battle claws. The sparkles of the gold ones make a beautiful vibration. Also Tioren, I have something for you. I would have given it to you on your hatchday but since you never told me I don't know when that is." Kyran said as she pulled a box out from under her nest. It was wrapped in a flurry of glittery colors and there was a bow on top that almost resembled Tioren's face. "Well, open it!" Kyran said excitedly. When Tioren opened it Kyran's gizzard almost leaped out of her. "I remember you telling me about something that was special to you that you lost a long time ago and after looking very carefully, well, I guess you know the rest." Kyran said.
