Cleef was now finishing up on his half. He had found nothing good on his half besides Tinker's battle mask and was begining to lose hope. Cleef picked up the last scroll on his half he expected it to be another journal or message but when he opened it he puffed out untill he was two times his side and felt as though his feathers would explode off of him in joy. He calmed himself so he looked normal again, folded the scroll, and flew to the middle. Waiting for Tinker to finish. If an owl can smile. Cleef was smiling.

Tinker heard Cleef moving around behind him, but thought nothing of it; both had been moving around throughout the search. As Tinker had started slightly later than Cleef, he was a few minutes searching before he was finished. He tucked the last scroll back into its perch, slightly dispirited but knowing that there was still plenty more tree to search. He turned around to see Cleef, standing in the middle of the hollow, fidgeting, as if he had something mightily important to say. Tinker saw a scroll in his talon. "Well? I see you have something there, is it of use?" Tinker asked.

Cleef puffed up alittle in happiness "Yeah it's of use." Cleef unraveled the scroll and showed it to Tinker. It was a map of Tyto but what had stood out the most to at least Cleef was the title of the map which read "Our Fliver Of Tyto". Cleef pointed his Talon at a cave location on the map. The cave's name was "Cave Of The Blizzards."

Tinker nodded, understanding immediately. He wondered why the owls that had ransacked this place before had not found this scroll, he and Cleef had only been searching for a half an hour or so. There were many possible answers to that question, none of them worth pondering at the minute. Tinker yawned and looked out the hollow entrance. The night was beginning to thin. Dawn was close. "Cleef, it's getting light outside. Why don't we spend the day here? We've seen no other owls, so it should be safe. Only, let's find some sleeping quarters, not here." Tinker scooped up his mask, preparing to leave the hollow.

Cleef agreed. They would work better with there energy up. He grabbed a ink-pot that, fortunately, had not been spilled. He then looked at Tinker. "Find a hollow and wait at the entrance. I need to do something." Cleef put the map in the pouch and pulled out the riddle scroll. He pulled one of his lose feathers out and started writing something on the back of it. He finished and waited for Tinker to fly out first. Cleef thought he had been too sudden last time and decided to wait for Tinker.

Tinker watched Cleef writing. Tinker has always been terrible at writing, but it was usually mostly ledgable, and at least he could write. As he was finishing, Tinker went to the hollow's entrance and took off. Further up in the tree, he soon found a nice hollow, not too large but just roomy enough. He landed on a branch outside and waited for Cleef.

Cleef followed Tinker up and out of the trunk. He took a short detour and posted his note outside of the tree where he hoped any bypassing or bystanding owl could see. The note read
"To any owl who is able to help us to save The Forest Kingdom of Tyto's resistance. Hoot Loudly three times and wait."
Cleef then looked for Tinker. He saw him setting sleepily on a nearby tree's branch and flew towards him. He landed beside him and said "I think it'd be a little more comfortable inside the hollow." Cleef walked inside the hollow and stood near the entrance. He decided not to pick any down from his fluff so he assumed his sleeping position. (OCC: It was like Digger's from the series.) He stayed awake though for alittle while listening to see if any owl would find his message before day was fully up.

Tinker snapped back awake. It was true, he had been dozing. He crawled into the hollow and promptly passed out.

Cleef watched as Tinker wobbled in and then passed out. He soon fell into a light sleep himself to where hopefully, The three loud hoots he was waiting would wake him.
(OCC: Not to be a kill joy but I find this a good spot to leave an opening for any owls that may be joying. I won't be posting on this one again untill tomorrow, 9/13/11. I know they can think of ways to join anytime but I want to see what happens. Story will progress at the latest of 9/13/11 at around 7:00.)

Cleef awoken. It was dark but there still was a little light on the horizon. He had not heard any owls that day. He looked at Tinker and saw he was still asleep. Cleef decided to let him awake on his own for now and flew out of the hollow to catch something for them both to eat.
He first flew towards the Tree where he had left the note the night before. He took it off the tree, rolled it, and flew back to the hollow they had stayed the day at. He slipped the scroll into there pouch and flew back out to find some food.
Cleef flew around the perimeter of the tree scanning the forest floor below, usually Cleef would have taken some time to find something already freshly killed, but decided he didn't have that time on his talons. So instead he spotted a plump rat. Cleef was a little shaky at doing so but he finally killed the rat and took it back to the hollow where Tinker still slept he dropped the rat inside the hollow near Tinker indicating that it was Tinker's meal in case he awoken while Cleef was hunting and flew back out of the hollow.
He scanned around in the opposite direction of the area he caught the last rat thinking that he may have scared the others off into the direction. He had been rather loud in making the kill. He spotted a skinnier rat than last time, but enough to last him untill his next meal he was sure. Cleef went into a steep dive and angled himself toward the mouse. The mouse changed direction as Cleef was on top of it and scurried off. Leaving Cleef to Crash into the ground. It hurt a little but not to much luckily. Cleef hopped up and did a quick look over of himself to see if there was any damage that would effect his flight. Seeing that there wasn't any he flew up into a nearby crab apple tree and picked one off, He had devoloped a taste for various fruits for some odd reason. Probably because he didn't like killing, Even if it was a mouse.
Cleef made it back to the tree and took the place where he had slept and began eating the crab apple. Waiting for Tinker to wake up.

As the moon began to rise, Tinker woke up. Normally he was an early riser, often rising well before moonrise. He blinked the sleep from his eyes and was startled to see Cleef already awake and a dead rat sitting near him. Normally, Tinker was also a light sleeper, indicating either Cleef was extremely quiet, or he had been extremely tired. Tinker beaked the rat in half, assuming Cleef had not eaten. "Are you hungry?" Tinker asked. He himself was not completely satisfied, but he could manage.

"You eat first" Said Cleef "I'll pick up any left overs. I caught it for you and just ate a little fruit. I may regret it later but I'll manage for now. Thank you though for offering." Cleef turned his attention to the crab apple core. He was down with it so he decided to toss it out the hollow.

Tinker was less than convinced. Nevertheless, so as not to seem rude, he ate another quarter of the rat, leaving the rest for Cleef (it was a large rat, anyway.) "Here, have the rest." Tinker offered.

Cleef hopped over to Tinker and ate the remnants. To be honest it filled him up a good ways. He then but on his borrowed battle mask, swung the pouch, also burrowed, over his head and hopped out onto the tree branch. It was a nice clear night with very little wind. Making it easy to fly in any direction. Cleef pulled out the riddle maker's map and looked up at the stars.
After a few minutes Cleef rolled the map back up and said to Tinker "I'm ready when you are".

Tinker picked up his mask, which he had miraculously not lost in his dimness before he fell asleep. He put it on and moved his beak a few times to make it more comfortable. "I'm ready," he said, "lead the way."
