Event?

I was thinking that maybe we could do something here on GD like an event that happened in the books. Maybe something related to the Great Downing when the Pure Ones dropped all those barn owls during a fight with Skench and Spoorn. Or maybe like a battle where every owl in the Great Tree goes off to fight in a battle. I was thinking that we do a special thing like that. ;D

That works, Kyran. Actually some of us like me haven't read the books, so maybe you can explain what happened that it's based off at every thread with (())'s? A good idea for all of the guests. ;D

I would prefer to not rip off from the books, it can of course include bits and pieces as inspiration but overall the event will be unique to the forum. So since this thread is already here; feel free to leave any suggestions you might have for the upcoming event.

What about, with Aakesh having killed Emerilla and declared her a slipgizzle, the Ga'hoole owls suddenly become worried/paranoid about other owls in their midst being slipgizzles?

Actually, that does sound good Cam. We could make that part of it. I think we should make something like the Ga'Hoolian owls start banishing owls because they get so paranoid that at the slightest mistake with the use of words will make them banish owls.

Paranoia could be the catalyst but the event itself should be much greater. Keep it up guys, some great idea's are going through here .

I'm thinking if we all keep posting ideas we could make something AWESOME! LOL!

They might even go so far to check on all their known slipgizzles to interrogate them in case they have been betrayed.

Nice, I like it. Let's keep the ideas rolling. How about a whole new war launches because of everything going on?

A war would be unrealistic, most slipgizzles operate separately and GoG is generally known as an understanding faction. Like said before it could be a catalyst to a larger event but nothing more. Besides all that we shouldn't shed negative light on either or, it will be an adventurous event of sorts, not anything too dire; that will come later I assure everyone.

I've checked the statistics and since at this point there's no queen we could have an event where the queen gets murdered/kidnapped by the enemy and the GoG owls think it's because a slipgizzle leaked information to the enemy.

Try to branch out idea's instead of focusing on one general direction. A singular owl could leak information, as a traitor of sorts, however the position of queen is currently open which means I have no right to RP as her now or kill her off because the person who does create her at one point might not like that past forced on them. You guys are doing a great job with brain storming, sadly though its my job to make sure it isn't too far fetched .
