But beware the fact that I said 'framed' as in, did not actually betray Ardi, but someone is trying to make it look that way.

Someone trying to frame Nymphadora for the leak.
Or the guardians suspecting Ardi of being bad when he comes to them for help with his discovery.

The second actually has a decent support for the guardians if it happened.
That he could use it to go to the Middle Kingdom and try to bring back hagsfiends again.

So would he be innocent or not? I would actually like to include the shrieks in this if possible, they are after all unique to the site.

Perhaps the shrieks live in the Middle Kingdoms as well as the hagsfiends/dragon owls and the guardians think that Ardi is trying to bring them here to make chaos. The guardians find out when an owl has overheard Nymphadora and Ardi talking about the plans. This owl comes to the tree looking like the spectacled owl and frames her. Ardi gets mad and Nymphadora and Ardi have a fight and their friendship goes down the drain until Nymphadora is proved innocent and they find the owl who framed her. The owl who framed her could be like the leader shriek. It could be mentioned that shrieks are masters of disguise.

I'm just throwing out ideas and mixing them together. It could be a nice story.

but Ardi would be innocent, hes just thinking of exploration and easier/ safer movement over water.

Shrieks are generally wanderers or are housed with GoG, their origins though are somewhere where they alone can go, hence why no one knew of them until recently. These idea's are all very good, I know we'll get it .

How about the Shrieks go to the Middle Kingdoms and team up with the hagsfiends/dragon owls and then, well, the rest of the plot that I put.

Seems a bit too elaborate and also the shrieks are already factioned, there may be a few stray but not enough to be relivent. How about a shriek artifact is found and causes whoever finds it to have a split personality that way they can be both innocent and guility at the same time, just a thought. Then events could accumulate from that point? Sorry for any typos made, I'm on my iPhone.

Good, but how would they be innocent and guilty? Also, who would this owl be? What if someone on the good side finds an artifact and it turns them evil.

Said owl could be both good and evil because of the dual personalities But yes essentially whoever finds it would have an evil side added to their demeanor that comes out every so often and even maybe begins to take over after awhile. That could also lead to the need for a cure of sorts or information at the dark enity taking over the owl which would... ah I do have an idea, how about a trip into the shrieks land? However since its closed off, too high for an owl to breath to get over the bowel-like mountain its in, they need another way in. Any suggestion? Also feel free to shoot down what you don't like about this .

How about the owl who finds the artifact brings it back to the tree and the artifact starts corrupting the owls' minds. All but one. This good owl learns that to cure them he/she must journey to the shrieks land and find a certain object that will bring goodness back to the owls.

With this part of the plot we can add it to the other thing I said a while back, cut off some things that might not make sense and tada! We got our story assuming it's ok with you Bunko.
