A lone pure one barn owl carried her owlet to a raid. She had little choice, since her nest was burned to the ground. Her and her team were ambushed somewhere in Ambala. She found a hollow tree, left her owlet in it and flew off to fight. She didn't come back. A snowy white masked owl soared high searching for a small meal to satisfy her till morning to be able to continue her work. When she spotted him, she glided slowly next to the owlet. " Would you like some assistance?"
" Mum hasn't come back... sure."
" Follow me little one I have a forge going that will keep you warm while I search for her."
The owlet looked down at the ground knowing that he was too young to be able to fly. The white owl landed in the opening, said, " hop on," and leaned over enough for him to climb into the basket on her back. The owlet climbed onto the white owl. She took off gently flying smoothly and quickly heading to her forge. " My name is Aislinn."
" Magog."
" That's a nice name."
After a few minutes, she landed in the tree she's taken up her forge in leaning over so Magog could get down. " Ok Magog, can you tell me what your mum looks like?"
The owlet hopped down and bundled up near the forge. " A barn owl, red, glowing pupils, black helmet, mark between her eyes."
" Note made. I will keep an eye out for her."
She walked over to a little nest and said, " You can rest here little one while I look for her."
" Ok, thanks."
" You are welcome."
Aislinn walked to the opening and took off. While she was searching, Magog dropped the sigil in the nest and examined it. His mother had given it to him and told him to keep it as a memento, in case the worst happened.
