Name: Tuft Gender: Male Age: 3 moons Species: Northern Saw-whet Owl Kingdom: St. Aggies Position: Orphan
Description: Tuft has a round, light white face with cream and brown streaks all over his body as well. His beak is dark in color, almost black. Yellow eyes with large black pupils can be seen on his round face. The underparts and upper parts are rather different in coloring. The underparts of him are pale with dark shaded areas. While the upper parts are brown or reddish with white spots. They are quite common, but hard to spot. Actually he looks very similar to a Short-eared Owl, except he doesn't have the ear tufts and is a good deal smaller. However unlike others of his species, there is a clutter of feathers on the top of his head that is slightly sticking up.
His talons aren't very sharp due to him being so young, so they're rather useless. Their only use is to help him get around. He's a rather thin thing though, even though he is feed enough it's just his build. Due to having a thin build, it makes him more fragile. Often when scared his feathers will puff up and make him look like a ball of soft feathers. He can often be seen glancing about or staring at the ground.
Personality: . Tuft is a silent little soul. This silence is due to him being the nervous type. Although that doesn't mean he doesn't talk, because he will. It's just a rare thing for him to and normally when he does talk, it holds politeness and respect in it.
Despite these traits, he actually wants to leave and have a adventure. This is really a way to get him to talk if you want to be friends with him. Sadly he can be a bit too trusting when others seem to share his desire to leave. Even with his nervous nature, he does want to learn. He knows that if he learns certain things like how to fly, he can get away from this place. Mainly though he believes that flight is the only way to get out of St. Aeggies
Tuft is a kind youngster and if he does make friends with those like him, he will try to help them as well. With adults though, trust is harder to come by but not impossible. He pays attention to things to the best of his ability, looking for as many possible ways to get away, while attempting not to get caught.
Strengths: Is willing to learn, has a thinner build to allow faster movements, loyal to friends that he does make.
Weaknesses: Being small, often nervous, can be too trusting.
History: Tuft was born within St Aggies and has lived there for his small life. Although he wasn't given a name, instead a number being 16-5. The young owlet secretly named himself Tuft due to the strange mass of feathers on his head that he shouldn't have.
His egg wasn't brought here, in fact it was his mother that was. With a broken wing, she was captured. Seeing that after she arrived she laid an egg, the beings of St. Aeggies decided not to destroy the egg. Allowing the egg to eventually hatch solely as a free slave that would most likely bend to their every whim since they thought the owlet would think of this place as it's home and share their ideals.
They have tried to get Tuft to believe in their cause without explaining it the why they would to adult owls. Telling lies to the young owlet, they are unaware that their attempts aren't really working. Being treated the same as the other orphans, Tuft sees the truth to what is going on and is determined to escape. He wants to help others get out as well but is too young to try anything sadly. So for now, the young owl is just learning and hoping for one day to get out.
In Character Tuft's yellow eyes looked around carefully as he walked along. Trapped within the large line of fellow owlets with a few adults mixed in. There had to be a way out right? Yes...there was. For a few moments his yellow gaze went up, up to the ceiling of the caverns.
Flight. Flight was the only way out of this place. Soaring high and going as fast as you can to get away from those cruel beings here. His gaze had quickly returned to looking down at the ground. He had yet to try branching, there was no place for him to try in which he wouldn't be caught.
Hopefully he'd get to learn someday, get to be free for once. There was no freedom here. The adult owls didn't have any freedom either. They served something, someone. The owls here weren't the masters no. The masters were elsewhere, doing who knows what.
But why? Why was this going on even? Even though he knew that no good was coming out of this, he didn't understand why it was going on. Nor did he fully understand what was happening to the other owlets here, he knew that it wasn't right. The way they acted, they moved. It wasn't right. Something was wrong with them and so far, he didn't see a way to reverse it. Other: Don't think so.

Golden bio! I love your description and as I aforementioned, a St. Aggies' owl is always a welcome sight here at Ga'Hoolian Decree.
Tuft is most certainly accepted! I hope you have fun here at GD, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me or Sompom.
