Idea?

I had an idea for a plot for some sort of huge roleplay, a bit like the official season roleplays. It would start off with a rumour of a traitor within the Great Tree. The monarchs are panicking... little do they know that St. Aggies and the Pure Ones also suspect that a turnfeather is in their ranks. Every person to participate would make one or two expendabe characters (no huge bios, just a name, species and gender) and then these ones would start turning up dead, all killed in horrible ways. (Sabine will faint when she is called to verify the weapon type that killed the first owl. She eventually decides that it was of Ga'Hoolian make... that is to say, her own work of steel) The Ga'Hoolian owls blame the Pure Ones, while they blame St. Aggies, who blame the guardians. There's a huge fight, and two temporary owls (king and queen, since there is none) and they will both be killed in the battle. It is then revealed that the Pure Ones and St. Aegolius 'Shrieks' have risen against their masters, while those allied with the Guardians are fed up with them sitting on their tail feathers. Then there's a huge fight and just to throw in a bit of romance, I'll give Sabine a boyfriend who is killed by the Shrieks. What say ya all?

This sound like a great idea!!!!!!!!. I for one will enjoy the activity and ill be sure to join in, if this does happen ill throw in three characters two to be found dead and one to roleplay with

The Great Tree already has a King and a Queen, and I don't think that they should be killed any time soon (There is already a plot in the making for the King and Queen, and they both need to stay alive). I also doubt Felidae and Greathorned want Ethos and Verae killed, but apart from that I'm interested.

Edit: Now that I consider what everyone has said and all perspectives of the idea, I have a new one.

a) I like the idea of a turnfeather within each of the three groups. I also like the idea of the expendable characters and the sudden deaths, and the different groups blaming each other.

b) I don't like the idea of Shrieks. I joined way after they were part of GD, and they've died along with their idea. I don't like the whole concept of Shrieks, and I think it would be hard to involve them in the RP.

Yeah, I have no intention of having Ethos killed, after all he has barely had any chance to do much yet and I spent too much time on his profile to let him die so soon. I will also admit, I have never been on board with the concept of the Shrieks, I never liked the Hagsfiends in the books, as I never felt the books needed the heavy fantasy elements that permeated the post-Kludd story lines, and the Shrieks, I feel, are just new Hagsfiends. So I am going to say I am not sold and will need more convincing.

There IS a king and queen? Why doesn't it ay so on the main page? Plus the shrieks were only there just because they are supposed to play a bg part in this site, but they havent actually appeared in a roleplay yet. Go figure. Anyway, i'm with you on the hagsfiends. Kathryn Lasky killed it with those. It was realistic 'til THEY came along!

The thing about it is the main page has not been updated in a long, long time, so much of the information up there is completely out-of-date. For now it would be better to go and look at the actual owl profiles to see what positions have been taken.

I also think that the shrieks were a big part of the site back when Saiko and Tawny were still here. The site's changed, and I think Bunko was going to post the new plot soon.
