I am so sorry for vanishing like I did. I should have posted something in a free moment and let you guys know what was up but I have literally had no time to myself for quite a while now. I realize that apologizing doesn't necessarily make things better, but it can't exactly make them worse, now, can it?
For the last several months my family and I have been dealing with the fallout from several really traumatic events. My dad was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, and was literally told to "get his affairs in order" because the doctors were convinced he would be dead in six weeks. He was sent to a specialist in Boston who was able to not only remove the tumor, but declared him to be cancer free.
At the same time, my mother and her parents made a custody grab that ripped our family in half. My brother has been adopted by, and is living with, my maternal grandparents, because despite the fact that it was my mother who made the grab, she was deemed an unfit parent by the courts and CPS.
All of that on top of my senior year of high school, stressing over college acceptance, driver's ed, and the death of my cat, and it all became too much for me. In the scraps of free time I managed to grab, I didn't even feel like writing, let alone roleplaying. But now I'm back and I fully intend to stay active.

Also, if I may, what do you mean by "fallout"? Isn't that supposed to be related to nuclear events of some sort?
