Since it's always nice to have a little discussion outside of the individual roleplay threads, I'm here to as you what is your favorite species of owl? For me, I love both the Barn Owl and the Great Horned Owl equally, but both species are second to the Eurasian Eagle Owl. There's something about those big, orange eyes that I find so alluring.  |

I find burrowing owls nice. When I start falconry... I'm going to try and get an owl (any type)

I've heard that owls really aren't very good for falconry.

I love Barn Owls, Short Eared Owls and Elf Owls. The size of those tiny little birdies makes me swoon in adoration.

My favourite owls are Barn owls, because they have so much grace and elegance. They're wonderful fliers, silent and have very good hearing.

I know this is most likely the most popular choice, but I like the White-breasted Barn Owl (Tyto alba alba) a lot.
