So, this year we have a new book joining the Ga'Hoole series, based upon the life of Ezylryb. While not supposed to come out for another few months, I have acquired an advanced copy via ebay and am in the process of reading it. As much as I tried to resist, I can't help but post some of the new information given to us in the book in case anyone wants a heads up. As I read the book, I will continue to add new information.
New Infromation:
~Ezylryb had an older brother, named Edvard, who died shortly before he was hatched.
~His mum is named Ulfa, his da is named Rask.
~ Ezylryb grew up with Moss, and both met Thora Plonk, the Rogue Smith of Silverveil, when they were young.
~His sister Lysa died when their tree caught fire.
~Lil's full name is Lillium.
~Orf, the legendary blacksmith of Dark Fowl Island, is a Great Gray Owl.
~Krakish names for the seasons:
Spring - Soffen issen or "soft ice"
Summer - Ny schnee or "no snow"
Autumn - liffen schmoo or "light frost"
Winter - brikta schnee or "deep snow"
~Ezylryb met Blix and Loki as a cadet on Dark Fowl Island.
~Strix Struma's full name is Strumajen Strix, and she served with Ezylryb in the Kielian League.
