Personality: Allegra is quite patient and caring, and will help any owl in need. She is quite naive and girlish, often seeing a love interest where there is none. She has a bad habit of helping owls and then realising that they are murderers. She has a beautiful voice that is rumoured to be able to even discourage crows from attacking. This is actually because she has a long-standing friendship with the leader of the crow colonies. Even so, her voice is beautiful and she has been asked several times to join the Guardians as their residant singer, but she has always refused, preferring freedom and her meat not cooked like the Guardians do it.
Strengths: She is a skilful flier, she is extraordinarily strong, especially for a girl. She also has a beautiful voice which encourages many to try and mate with her, but she has yet to find one she likes back.
Weaknesses: She is incredibly trusting and naive, she is really small for a great horned, which is disguised by her extremely puffy feathers.
History: Allegra was born in the Northern Kingdoms in a time when there was a lot of krall fighting between two krall gangs. One day when Allegra was just an owlet the kralls stormed her hollow and killed her parents and her brother and sister. They were about to kill her also but she showed them that she could sing, and they kidnapped her instead. For a year they had her chained to the ground, feeding her only the smallest morsels of ice rat and forcing her to sing all the time, stopping only when they slept. In all that time they never changed her chains, so even today she has marks where the chains cut into her legsas she grew. After a year a passing Glauxian Sister heard Allegra's voice and instinctively knew that no krall sang like that. She sneaked in and let free the terrified owl, carrying her to the Glauxian Sister's Retreat, where she taught her to fly, and educated her in the healing arts. Allegra also learned how to paint there, and she loves it. Eventually she left her adopted family to wander, and heals everyone she sees. She also acts as an owlet-sitter to families who need to go hunting for long periods of time.
