Name: Coryn (Cor-rin)
Gender: Male
Age: 38 moons
Species: Grass Owl
Kingdom: Pure One
Position: Grass Owl (Pure)
Description/Picture: Coryn is like any other Grass Owl, his feathers the normal brown colour with grey patches dotted with white spots. His face is a darker shade of brown than most Grass owl’s, but his eyes are an even darker chocolate brown. He is also quite hansom, or he likes to think he is.
Personality: Coryn is an extremely proud owl, always preening himself and keeping his feathers nice and neat. Even though he is a lower Pure One, he is still quite cruel and somewhat ‘evil’ and only let’s owls in the higher positions tell him what to do. Coryn is also confident and likes to tell other people what to do and when to do it. He is a strong fighter and a good flier, but because he is still only just ‘Pure’ the Pure One’s never take notice of him and so he constantly tries to impress them.
Strengths: Good flier, strong fighter, confident (Can also be a weakness).
Weaknesses: Cruel, controlling, somewhat shallow and very proud.
History: Coryn hatched like any other owl would. He had two siblings, whom both were weaker than him in both personality and build, that he liked to order around. This built up to him becoming so controlling and cruel, because whenever his siblings didn’t want to follow his orders he would threaten them and force them to continue doing his bidding. When he started branching, he would sometimes see Pure Ones flying overhead and it became his ambition to find out who those owls were and to join them. Coryn was out branching, doing considerably better than his two siblings, when Pure Ones attacked his hollow. He fought back, and they saw potential in him so they took him back with them. Because he was a Grass Owl, they let him join but in the lower ranks. He has been striving for their approval ever since.
IC: The male Grass Owl stood in front of a younger Masked owl, a cruel smirk on his face, “You’re so weak,” Coryn poked the younger owl with a talon, “I don’t see why they let you join,” He flicked his talons, dismissing the younger owl. “Now, where is my food?” He called, turning to face the owl beside him, “Didn’t I ask you to get me food?” The Sooty owl nodded nervously, “So, where is my food?” The Sooty opened her mouth to speak, but Coryn cut in, “You haven’t got it?” He took a step forward, “Why haven’t you got it?” Another step, “I told you to get me my food!” He was now right in front of the other owl and he raised a talon to her neck.
“Coryn!” Came a stern voice, and the Grass owl turned to face a much older Barn owl, who was giving him a steely cold stare, “Don’t bully the younger ones.”
“Yes, sir,” Coryn said, bowing his head. “I’ll get you next time.” He whispered to the Sooty before flying off.
