Personality: Sentes is a cold and calculating owl who works only to further himself and is more than willing to use and abuse any other owls, even fellow Pure Ones, in order to put himself ahead. A bit pompous and egotistical, he thinks very highly of himself and tend to see other as inferiors. Driven by his ambition to become the next High Tyto, he is willing to take great risks as long as it will land him a major payoff in the end. To do this, he is able to manipulate other owls to get them to do as he wishes and will sacrifice as many as he need to if it serve to further his status.
Strengths: Quite a smooth-talker, Sentes is quite capable of convincing other owls to assist him and is able to spin his words so they will follow his lead, even if it will ultimately lead to their own deaths. He is also quite capable to planning and carrying out schemes that result in his own benefit, all the while maintaining a perfectly loyal and competent persona of a typical Pure One. He also uses this ability to blend into various other owl communities to spy on them for the Pure Ones.
Weaknesses: For all his boasting, Sentes is terrible in actual combat. He is neither fast, nor agile, nor strong and goes yeep fairly easily. As a result, he is a big coward and will always run in the face of a confrontation that he is unable to talk his way out of. If backed into a corner, he is also prone to simple surrender, rather than to try and fight his way through.
History: Sentes was born into the Pure Ones and, as has never know anything but. However, his future within the group has always been uncertain, every since he was young. It took little time for Sentes to prove his inability to fight properly. He was always the slowest, the weakest, the first to become fatigued. His condition was so deplorable that his parents were advised to dispose of him and attempt for another owlet. For whatever reason, his mother and father refused to do so and tried their hardest to train their young son so he could stand with the rest of the Pure Ones on equal footing. It was not to be. He failed spectacularly and was denied membership into the Pure One military. Under any other circumstances, this would have been the end for him. Owls who cannot perform are left to serve as labor, working right alongside the lesser Barn Owl species. But for Sentes, this would not be his fate. One of the Pure One commanders saw potential in him and took him under his wing. He spent months training the young owl in the arts to espionage, fashioning Sentes into s calm, manipulative spy who could be dropped into the various owl kingdoms and assimilate into their society, all the while sending detail information back tot he Pure Ones that would make conquering those kingdoms much easier. It was during this time that Sentes first developed his desire for power and he soon set his gaze straight for the position of High Tyto, determined to own that title one day and have dominion over the entire owl world.
