Name: Camira (Of the wind)
Age: 13 moons
Species: Micrathene Whitneyi Elf Owl
Kingdom: Saint Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls
Position: Snatched Owlet, Orphan
Distinguishing Features: Camira’s feathers are a rusty brown with a few greys mixed in. Her wings are slightly longer than most Elf Owls’, who range at about nine inches, hers being about ten. She has a scar across her facial disk. Her talons are quite small, even for an elf owl.
Personality: For some odd reason, Camira can resist moon blinking, but only when she can see the stars. She can get very hyper when something good happens. She enjoys getting praise from her pit guardian, Udolf (A prosperous wolf).
Strengths: Can resist moon blinking, good navigator, fast flier, witty
Weaknesses: Low pain threshold, VERY inquisitive and has a morbid fear of Tropical Screech Owls. She is also a bit of a smart-arse.
Story: Her mother in Kuneer was a premiere navigator and would take Camira out every night to map the constelations. One fateful night Camira's mother, Sajni (beloved) was at the back of the cacti nest, half asleep along with Camira's ditzy sister. Seeing the apparently unguarded nest, a Tropical Screech owl reached in and tore Camira from the hollow. Camira's screech of terror woke her mother, who tried to take Camira back. The Screech owl, pushed her mother to the ground and quickly sped off with Camira. At Saint Aggies, she was given the number 98-3 and assigned to Battle Claw Maintenance.
Camira is a brave young owlet and has stayed strong in the belief that the stars will never lie to her.
