Character Limitations

Yet another announcement! So exciting, right? Well, it will be in a sec. Just so you guys know, there'll probably be a new announcement every day for the next few days. Is that okay?

So, anyways, we all know how so far, every member has been limited to having only three characters, right? Well, I think that deserves a change. We only have so many members and I figured since we need to even the kingdoms out, it'd be great to change the rule.

Also, I don't know about you guys, but I always feel like I want to create characters within every kingdom. But since there's a limit, I go ahead and prioritize. There're so many positions that seem cool, especially in the GoG Kingdom because there's so many positions. So what do we end up doing? Going for those cool positions and ending up in only one kingdom. I myself have two owls in the Pure Ones and one owl that's sort of a GoG and sort of an "Other" type of owl. Anyway, getting to the point-

I've decided to lift the rule on character limitations. Every member on this site is free to make as many characters as they wish. However, you must be able to keep track of all of your characters and you must keep them active. By active, I don't mean you have to be using them every week. As long as they're being used and not sitting around for months, I'm happy. Does that sound good to everybody?

Now, I realize that some of you may say "Oh, that's great! But what if I can't keep track of all my characters?!" Panic not! I have an idea to solve that problem. What would you guys think of having your own little member boxes? There could be a board labeled "Member Boxes" where you could make your own thread and put anything you want in it. You could keep track of characters, open your shops there instead of in the Games & Art place. How does that sound? And if you don't think one thread would be enough to keep all your stuff in, I'd be happy to create a sub-board for each of you where you could keep multiple threads. It'd be like having your own place on the site!

Great idea, Ayama. I already expressed why I think this such a good idea on the c-box, but I suppose I should put it down here too for the record. Who knows, Claudius may be my final owl, but it is certainly nice to know that if I ever want to, I can make more owls as long as I take good care of them. Ciao.

I love the idea of member boxes! I'm not sure that mine will get much use, because I'm sometimes not that organized, but I still think they'll be great. It will be fun to see what other members think to put in there (:
