Gender: Female Age: 8 months Species: Tyto Alba, Barn Owl Kingdom: Guardians of Ga'Hoole Position: Student ~ Colliering Chaw ? Description/Picture: PICTURE Personality: Ari is a strong sort, maybe not by her fighting skills, but her gizzard. She holds firm to her beliefs and does not easily let go of her dreams. Some may call her stubborn, or silly to hold on to such things. Ari has a bad habit of listening to her gizzard (or head) more than listening to orders. So she has gotten into a bit or trouble because of this, but her gizzard has never failed her yet. Ari is shy when shes around owls that she doesn't know, especially if they are around her age. But if she meets any stubborn, evil, or mean owls..she'll let you know how she feels. And she'll get right up in your face about it, believe me. One type of owl she doesn't like to be around are slipgizzles. Strengths: Belief Determination Speed Smart Flying technique - can fly through almost any type of weather safely Weaknesses: Physical strength Tracking ability Doubt - in dire situations, she can doubt herself and will sometimes do something rash Following orders History: Arilee was born and raised in Ga'Hoole. Her parents were Ingliss and Hurus. Ingliss was a well desired barn owl because of her beauty and her singing abilities, but she was also a warrior. That was how she had met Hurus. Hurus came from the northern kingdoms, and was handy with battle claws and ice daggers. He became a member of the tree after Ingliss found him and had to rescue his sorry feathers from an eagle. The two of them were always bickering, poking fun at each other, and teasing. But the two fell in love, and Arilee came soon after. Arilee was raised mostly by her mother, taught "etiquette" and "manners." Though Ari didn't really excel much in her mothers course, she passed with flying colors in her uncles. Her uncles name was Darwin, he was her mother's older brother, and was a collier. He taught Ari all about the art of colliering before she could even fly. She became a student, and that was the chaw she wished to pursue. And everyone could see why, though some wonder why she had never even tried Weather Interpretation.
