A beautiful snowy owl flew through the Forest of Silverveil, her yellow eyes shimmering like gold in the liquid sunshine. Se was pretty, but she was no warrior and she was the clumsiest owl you'd ever meet. Her wing strokes were light and as she flapped her wings in that elegant manner of hers, gentle streams of wind flowed behind her. The she-owl had just finished slipgizzling and was on her way to the guardians. She quite liked them, especially since they had saved her when she had been owlnapped.
The pure white owl produced a "churring" sound as she thought about how many times she had slipped and fallen and one of the guardians had helped her up or stopped her from falling. She was just so clumsy and the worst part was, it couldn't be helped. But at least she could pay them back little by little after all they'd done for her.
The female was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice a tree right in front of her eyes and the girl crashed into the trunk of the tree, beak first. She fell to the forest floor in a matter of seconds. Lucky for her it was the season of the Copper Rose Rain so there were many leaves on the ground to break her fall.
Artemis got up with a bit of pain on her back side. This is what she got for being a klutz as well as a fool. The pretty owl stood up and felt the top of her head. Little drops of blood dripped but she wasn't one to complain about pain. She never had, and she doubted she ever would. She started walking a little bit and her talons slipped and she fell again. Oh, when will I learn that I'm no good with walking. she thought as she sat on the floor.

Cleef had been roosting in a tree for a little break from flying. He had been moving all day looking for any owl in need of help. All had seemed calm where ever he flew so he had stopped in a tree for a little nap. Since the tree he roosted on in Silverveil was almost bare Cleef had tied a crow feather, he usually had it hidden behind his back feathers, onto his head to where it was in plain site. He didn't want to wake up with a crows trying to peck him apart.
Cleef was beginning to doze off when he heard a loud THUNK and his tree shook. This jarred him wide awake and he looked down to see whom had hit the tree. What he saw was a beautiful snowy owl lying on the ground. He watched her hop back up check her wounds then trip once more. Cleef noticed her head was bleeding a bit. He flew down and landed in front of her. He helped her back to her feet and asked "Are you okay madam?"

The beautiful snowy shouted "GYAAAAAH!" as a burrowing owl landed in front of her. As he helped her to her feet, she looked at him curiously. "Wh-Who are you?" she said before giving out any information on her self. She looked at him with shining eyes. Before he could answer, she held out her talons and said in a friendly voice "I'm Artemis, a slipgizzle for the guardians."
The snowy didn't know why but every time she met someone, they always blushed when she talked to them. She of course, didn't know she was such a beautiful owl. Artemis offered a charming smile to the burrowing owl. Her eyes glittered and sparkled and shined in their usual manner. Her bleeding stopped and the pain had gone but she was still a little wobbly on her feet.

Cleef didn't know it but he was blushing a bit. Although he didn't pick favorites Cleef always thought that the Snowy owl species was a rather majestic species. "Sorry for the scare Artemis." Said Cleef "I saw your head bleeding and didn't know if you where ok or not. The bleeding seems to have stopped fortunately. I am Cleef of the Desert of Kuneer."
Cleef took the crow feather that was on his head and hid it under his back feathers. It seemed he didn't need it for now.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [bg=80c4bd] Artemis grinned and nodded a little bit. "It's an honor to meet you! Would you happen to be a guardian?" she said making the wobbling of her feet stop. Just as she was about to walk closer to the burrowing owl, she slipped on some mud. It spun her around and her back was about to fall onto Cleef! "AAAAAAAH!" she shouted and closed her eyes, hoping that she hadn't fallen on top of him. Most owls were quick enough to catch her before she could knock them over.

Cleef Broke Artemis's fall by putting one talon out to stop her and unfolding his wings to keep balance. He looked alittle goofy but it did it's job. "No I am not a Guardian at least not the kind you think of. I do help the Guardians quite often though. I'm truly classified as a rouge but I'm an owl who's dedicated to helping others in need. Why don't we get off the ground. we could land in that tree I came down from. Unless of course you'd rather fly somewhere else here in Silverviel."
(OCC: I don't know your plans for this Rp So I suggested both.)

The pure white owl blushed as she was caught by the male owl. Artemis thought for a bit and decided that the owl probably wasn't bad. "Okay! Sure! But I have a hollow near here, we can sit in there." she said and her wings spread out. She angled them slightly and started flapping her wings, slowly at first, but with increased urgency after a few moments. In a matter of seconds she was in the air.
Her tail angled so that she could turned around and fly the other way. Her wings flapped elegantly and gentle streams of air were cats behind her. The sun's rays shined upon her and she seemed to glow in an almost heavenly way. She continued flying until they reached a richly green tree with bits of bark peeling off of it. Artemis flew about 60 feet up and landed on a branch that had many twigs attached to it.
The beautiful snowy walked into the roomy hollow and sat on her small nest that had bits of moss and grass strewn into it. She motioned for Cleef to come inside, there was plenty of space. There was a small pile of mice in one corner of the hollow and they were as plump as could be. Artemis reached over and took one, offering it to Cleef. "Would you like some?" she asked with her sweet voice. She was one of the descendants of the Snow Rose, and so she had been born with a beautiful voice. |

Cleef was taken aback. During there flight Artemis had been such a silent flyer If she wouldn't have hit the tree he was sure they would have never met and she flew so gracefully. Another thing was her kindness. Cleef had met many owls and most of them hadn't offered him food right off the bat. Usually Cleef ate with the scavengers of wherever he was flying around at meal time. (Cleef didn't like hunting to much. A dislike for killing is what led to this.
"Sure I am a bit hungry." Said Cleef kindly taking the mouse. He took a space against the hollows left wall and began eating the mouse. It was pretty good and Cleef wondered what Cook at the Great tree would do with mice this good.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [bg=80c4bd]Artemis gave a cute smile at Cleef as he started eating the mouse. He looks like he's about my age. Maybe a few weeks older though. she thought and continued to smile. Then she looked outside and watched as some flowers fell off the trees. She gave a small gasp at the beauty of it all. "Amazing!" she said as she watched the flowers fall.
She turned her attention back to Cleef, who seemed to be finishing the mouse. "You can stay here for a few days if you'd like. I wouldn't mind since this hollow's pretty big." she said, her eyes shimmering like gold. Cleef was a bit taller than her, but she didn't mind. The pretty owl walked a bit closer to Cleef with her bright smile. Then she noticed he had a small scratch on his wing. "Oh, are you okay?" she said and touched it gently with the tip of her wing.

"Huh?" Said Cleef with question in his voice. He looked at his wing "Oh I didn't even know that was there. Must of gotten it from grazing a stick when I caught you. It doesn't hurt though." As he said that he scratched it a bit with his beak. "Does itch a bit though. Maybe if I soak it in a little water the itch will leave. Don't want it irritated. Do you know where a water source is nearby?"
Cleef scratched it once more. Then preened the feathers around it. He then looked at Artemis for her answer.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [bg=80c4bd]Artemis's eyes widened a little but not too much. She nodded as Cleef asked her if she knew where to find water. "I'll go get some water, you stay here." she said and walked out of the hollow, onto the branch outside. Her wings spread out at a slight angle, golden liquid eyes filled with determination, tail ready to turn. The snowy's wings started to flap gently, then with increasing urgency and soon the she-owl was high in the sky.
Her pure white wings looked almost like clouds against the clear blue sky. Artemis passed a few crows but they didn't dare harm her even though it was daylight. She had made friends with the crows, so they would never hurt her. In fact, they had saved her life once or twice, maybe more. The white owl landed near a small depression in the Earth where there was a tiny pool of tepid water swirling round and round.
Artemis plucked a healthy green leaf off of one of the bushes nearby and dipped it in the water, soaking it in less than 5 seconds. As soon as it was wet, she took the leaf out with her talons and lifted into the sky once more, returning to her hollow in a matter of minutes. The white ow gently pressed the leaf against Cleef's cut and held it there until the male owl seemed relieved of pain.
As soon as the job of the leaf was done, Artemis left it on the branch outside and let the wind carry it away, leaving no trace of it behind. The female returned to where she had been sitting earlier and stretched out her wings. Revealing a few cuts and bruises that she had obtained on her flight to Silverveil. She produced a small churring sound as she felt the pain. That was what she usually did instead of crying or whining. Her pain tolerance was quite high. | |

"Well I see I'm not the only one who's got wounded." Cleef said this jokily but kindly since Artemis whas laughing. He then scratched a little at his wound "I know you're not supposed to scratch at these kind of wounds but this one seems a little different. The itch is nearly unbareable. Cleff scratched in a circle formation around the wound. This seemed to satisfy the itch for the time being. Cleef turned his attention back to Artemis. "are you ok or should we try soaking in a shallow stream?"
