Hello, I've been poking around this board for just less than a day, and I would like to join in the fun that appears to be happening here. However, I have several questions.
Firstly, what is the difference between NPCs and Adoptables? Can NPCs be adopted? I'm curious because both of those boards are smashed together, so it seems as though there must be some similarity.
If my thought is wrong, and NPCs and Adoptables are two different things, then which is Custos? I suppose that question should be directed specifically at Vae.
My next question is how do you join a RP? Do you find one with Open in it's title, and just post there, introducing your character to the plot?
Oops! I have another question! What do the exalt and scowl buttons do on people's profiles? It changes their honour, that much I discovered from hitting one, but what does the honour do?

Non-playable characters, characters that are mentioned and intractable with in posts but are not role-played, are listed here along with adoptable owls.

I have added a labeling system to make it simpler,

{Adoptables} = Adoptable Owls
{NPC} = Non-playable characters or characters to be used by staff and in some minor cases members.

I believe it effects coal pieces which are used to buy stuff at the onsite RolePlay shop. So please don't press the scowl and exalt so lightly because this points are meant to be fairly earned or vis versa.
