It's been years since the last civil war between Lucifer and Michael left Heaven in ruins. Gabriel, unable to choose between his brothers, has departed for earth with his garrison, where a group of people known as Hunters are slowly picking them off. Lucifer's garrison has split in two, half of them following him to Hell, the rest left trying to pick up the peices in Heaven. Michael is questioning if he made the right decision as his garrison struggles to perform the duties of three. Civilian angels, torn between who to follow, are growing restless. A second war seems inevitable - and this time Heaven isn't the only place at risk.
