Hi I just found this site and just wanted to say that it looks amazing, but I have a couple questions for you before I apply for a character that I couldn't find answered on the site! My first question is, is there a specific policy here for applying for ranked characters? I read somewhere that I just had to have a more detailed application, but do I need permission or something? I'm thinking of applying for the position of singer. My second, which is related to the first, is how 'traditional' a roleplay is this? The character I was going to create to fill the position is a male, and I think in the books they mention something about the singer usually being female - I don't know if it's a female-only position or if it just happens that the singer in the books was female or what. In other words, it is okay if I apply for the position of singer with a male owl? Thanks for your time!~

Permission is only needed if a ranks counter part, say a king to a queen, is already made. You may apply to be a singer with a male owl, however if you feel that its unusual for him to be so explain how he came to be one in his bio.

Sorry to but in, but there can be male singers!! In Guide to the Great Ga'Hoole in one if it's stories they talk about one ofthe singers before Madome Plonk, I forgot his name, but he was the singer of the great tree and a male snowy owl/
