General Rules
- Remember to keep it PG-13. That includes languages, scenes, etc.
- We are in liquid time; meaning your owls can be in multiple RP's at once.
- We DO NOT allow forced-breeding
- Common RP-ing etiquette (no god-modding, power-playing, killing without permission, etc).
- No Spamming! All spam will be deleted. If you have a site you'd like to advertise go to the advertisement board. Our site is not your personal advertisement space.
- Proper grammar and sentences please.
- When posting as an owl, try to use owl-like vocabulary.
- Follow the basic laws of nature. The only exception are the special powers demonstrated in the series (which you can purchase in the store).
- This role-play is to be in third person.
- Just use common sense and you'll do fine.
- Posting: Default size, 150 words minimum, and bright/neon colors aren't to be used.
- There is no character limit. But please try to make only as many characters as you can keep active.
- Please clearly state in some way which character you are using when posting.
- To keep genders somewhat even, if you have more then one character one must be a female and the other a male, your third character can be either.
- Wait to be accepted by an admin or moderator before beginning to Roleplay.
- The codeword is Fragglebeak.
- Watch out for Activity Checks as they are very important!
- Navigation may be a bit tricky for first timers, please be aware that the tab Owls leads to all character related boards and the ones right to it are Roleplay boards. As you can already see the first tab has the basic OOC boards including an advertisement area in Other. If you still find yourself having trouble a forum jump is available in the bottom right hand corner, just be sure not to skip any rules or guidelines.
Graphics
- Art theft will not be tolerated, if it's not available for public use and stated so you need permission, which yes, we will be checking to confirm.
- To be respectful to all Roleplayers animated images will only be semi tolerated. Anything flashing or fast paced will no longer be allowed as it can be harmful to certain persons and induce seizures.
- Icons/ Avatars should be 100x100
- Signatures should be centered and no bigger than 500x250
- Images in biographies should be of tasteful size and not stretch the board. No wider than 430 please.
Mating & Offspring
- As you all know romance will spark between characters as time moves forward. Whether your character and the other member's character want to have owlets is up to you.
- Yes two different Owl species can mate. Although it is not logical and in some cases not possible, but neither are dragon owls and owls with powers so there. If the size difference is too far fetched the breeding may fail though.
- RP-ers of the mating owls and an admin will come up with a decent number of eggs (the number will never exceed 5)
- RP-ers of the mating owls have a choice to take up an owlet each as a character. The rest of the offspring will be placed up for adoption to other role-players.
- An admin will then give the owlets up for adoption brief personalities and descriptions for their Bio's to be based off of.
- The eggs will take 10 days to hatch (sped up for rp sake) in which time they can only be controlled by the RP-ers.
- The hatchlings will be able to be role-played in about 1 to 2 weeks after hatching depending on the size of the parents (smaller species tend to hatch faster while larger ones tend to take longer) if they have someone to role-play them.
- Please do not get graphic with mating scenes.
- When Your Owls are ready to have offspring please PM an Admin the link to the mating thread. The admin will then place the news of upcoming newborns on the news board. Then they will discuss the hatchling options with you.
