How About A Change?

I've been pondering this for some time now and I know I'll have to run it past Bunko before we do anything at all, but what would you guys think of moving and relocating the site?

I honestly think that it could help us greatly. Proboards came out with a new version of forum and it's far more attractive than the other ones. I've gotten some opinions from a few guests, a few friends, and even some family and when I showed them the site, they thought it was inactive and abandoned because of the older features on it. I really think we could blossom with the recreation of this site. And even putting appearance aside --

I have a site that uses the newest version of Proboards and it's absolutely wonderful. What do I mean by that? Well, I mean it's very user friendly. Admins can navigate around, fix, and add new things much faster and easier! There are a lot more options for what you can add to the forums to make them look nicer, and to make them more fun too! Members'll find it easier to locate things as well. And overall, it's just better.

So what would you guys think of moving? Of course, I would have to repost everything from here onto that such as the rules and more, and we'd have to sign up for the site all over again, but think of all the benefits! All the packing up and moving would only be a little tedious thing to do and once it was done, we'd have a better site!

I don't have any experience with Proboards, but I would be happy to help you with the moving and setting up if Bunko is too busy. We also need to have lots and lots and lots of links and redirects on this site. If you google Guardians of Gahoole roleplay, we're the third hit!!
Can you post the link to your other fourm as an example? I'd just like to see what we're aiming for

Woo hoo! Thank you very much for voting and commenting Sompom! Alright, this site is one that I admined a while ago and it's probably gonna be a bit hard to reach a point as high as this one, but I think we can do it. It's a Warriors roleplay site and you can find it in the ads on our site if you look for it. It's the link that says "Warriors Roleplay" by FC Admin. I have a younger friend running that site now and she's doing a lovely job. I'd love for you guys to check it out and tell me if you'd like a set-up somewhat like that one. ^^

Well... I don't really see much difference. They just seem to have a different plan for laying things out. I don't really see much difference in navigation or links.

Although I agree with Sompom, that it's not much of a difference. There is a small change in appearance and layout that would probably attract a little more attention (possibly). Either way, we might as well keep up with advancements. I hold my vote as is.

The difference also comes from an admin's perspective though. The coding is much easier to do on that site and it actually obeys better too. I for one, love it. But don't worry, I'll mix things up too. You guys can throw some ideas at me for easier navigation and functions and I'll do my best to insert them in.
