Description/Picture: crosbyprojects.wikispaces.com/file/view/Great_Horned_Owl.jpg/30670606/Great_Horned_Owl.jpg
Personality:
Ardi is a very hard to talk to owl, he isn't very talkative, but usually knows a thing or two of what's going on and will give out information, for a price. He is Generally found in the Shadow Forest or on rare occasions, Ambala or Kuneer. He travels around to make himself aware of his surroundings and opportunities. Not much is known of his background, but it is known that he has travelled to the Northern Kingdoms at least once, and learnt there how to be a blacksmith, and also some knowledge of fire. Ardi may not look or sound like it, but he is a very intelligent owl as far as any that have never been to the Great Ga'hoole tree go. Wherever he goes, he has a reason, and he learns things when he goes somewhere, always. He is said to be very knowledgeable in the area of battle tactics and strategy as well.
Strengths:
-Cunning, mindful and Strategic
-Strong and Silent flyer
-Great fighter
Weaknesses:
-Sometimes Dark-Minded and unfriendly
-Right eye is Partially blind and only sees fuzzy images
-Intolerant of owls making mistakes.
History: As mentioned before, Ardi has a little known Histroy. None in the kingdoms know where he came from, how he became partially blind in one eye, or anything else.
Ardi was born in the most northern part of the shadow forest, his family was disappointed when they discovered his partial blindness, a birth defect that no one could explain to them, and treated him like an outsider, feeding him little. Nonetheless, they taught him how to fly, and when he felt ready, young Ardi flew off into the day while his so-called family slept. They never saw him again, and he never saw them. He decided to go to the northern kingdoms, which he had heard about from other young owls near his old nest, and learnt much there of survival, fire, the art of blacksmithing, and much more at the Glauxian Brothers retreat. He then returned to the southern kingdoms and took up a place as a slipgizzle, earning his reputation slowly, and learning as much as he could, to prove to nobody in particular that his blindness would not affect him, and so he did, without anyone realizing it.
IC: Ardi flew high overhead, above the southern border of the Shadow forest. He was tracking a group of crows, trying to figure their ways of navigation, but it had thus far proved to be random. He was preparing a new course to head on to leave the crows behind when he spotted their destination, a spotted owl, flying away, it had been obscured by clouds and so had not been seen by Ardi before, he settled back in above the crows and churred softly, this would be amusing. He watched, amused as the crows intercepted the owl, but yet another surprise loomed. The owl suddenly swooped under the mob and went on the offensive, decimating the four crows that had approached first, the others, frightened, scattered off in different directions. The owl proceeded to land on a branch of one of the many large trees in the area, and examine its surroundings. Ardi saw its gaze focus on something, a group of stones, ah, no, one of the buildings of the others. This owl seemed cautious, and so there had to be something of value in that area. After swooping above the clouds until the spotted owl left the area, Ardi glided down into the building left by the others, in search for whatever might be so valuable in that owl's mind.
