o^oTioreno^o In the darkness of night, only two eyes glowed as they watched the moon and moved along. Sparkling and glowing, Tioren's eyes watched for danger on the ground as she hopped around. "No snakes." Leaping to a branch, she flaps her wings in an unstable way.
She looked around again. Knowing everything about Ga'Hoole but only being there for one moon, Tioren hopped to the top of a tree and gazed at the sight of the Southern Kingdom spread out like a map. "I'm coming mom..." She whipered. Taking a breath, she spread out her wings and dived. Her talons skimming the ground.
Her right wing flinched and she fell talons over beak to the ground. "Remember to keep still! I'm still a beginner..." She told herself. She skidded farther than she flew, but she had gotten where she wanted to. Being her shy self, Tioren hopped up and sat on a branch, glancing at all of the other owls as they flew by or went home.
She preened her feathers and thought, I don't have a nest... Why did i choose to be HERE? What about the Guardians? What's next for me? She stopped and wondered out loud, "And who will help when I have nothing to do? Like now..." Tioren looked around and then settled on the branch.

o^o Tioren o^o Tioren yawned as the light streamed through the trees. She hopped down from her branch and quickly flaps around, picking up scraps with her beak. "Quickly... Swiftly... Don't want anyone watching..." She flapped up and sat down on a branch, looking around.
Tioren twisted the shiny silver into a round crest and engraved details with her beak. Then she took a skinny golden peice and made a { (right side { <- up). Then some silver a bit smaller, a bronze chunk even smaller, and her long-kept golden peice, polished and new, to make a curved beak peice. Tioren then binded them together, balanced with her wings, and used a rock to shape and flatten her object.
She made the indentments on the crest one more time to make sure it was right, then Tioren set it aside. It was flat, smooth, and a beautiful thing. The object was a sight to see, as if it was made by a proffessional. "Perfect..." Tioren breathed. She then quickly collected more golden, bronze and silver scraps, making talon fittings. She hid all of her things in a hole and took a breath. She hopped from branches and had no stress when going far by using her wings as support.
Getting to the edge of a clearing, she swooped down and landed feet first. "Hey... I didn't do half bad... but I'm too little and young to go out without..." Tioren shrugged and set out across the clearing. She went into a tunnel, a shortcut she found a few days ago, and emerged out near the far sea. She went out to the shoreline and found red sparkling chunks like fire. She picks it up and runs back to her tree.
Twisting the fire-red peices, she makes more talon fittings. Tioren cringed and said, " The perfect claws take it... Bleshka..." She scratched one leg with a talon on her other foot. Some bleshka dripped and she laid down on a forked tree branch and put her leg to her beak, letting it drip on her beak. She put some on the end of all the red battle claws. Next she binds some gold and red together and makes more talon fittings. She gazed at the perfect gear and murmured, "Perfect battle claws and defensive claws... Even lightweight bronze claws... A perfect mask... Can I?" Tioren looked in the direction of the Island of Hoole was. What about a new Guardian? She picked up all her things and set off. (Continued at the Island)
