Admin, I can no longer be held responsible if parts of my bio do not reach the 500 word requirement. Multiple users have forced me to change my bio repeatedly according to their whims. Please accept my apologies.

The 500 is only for high ranking characters, it's to show if called upon for an event said high ranking characters will be able to give others a good amount to work off of and also it is a way of earning the rank instead of simply taking it because it's open. I regret if this inconveniences you since I want all members happy but I feel the word count is actually quite lax compared to what I see on others forums.

Oh... Is that your way of saying that you won't accept it?

When making a character you should think all the aspects through of the character first and make it as realistic as possible. Everything should slot together to make your character believable to a point that if they were placed into real life they would fit in the world around them. And yes, I am aware of the fact that owls and humans are different, am just using it as example. As I have noticed that a lot of people slap together information which they wish their character was like, or because they think it would be ‘cool’, regardless of the character as a whole making sense or not. Just taking this from my own experience, as I have been roleplaying since April 2006, and my character profiles are 3,000 words plus.

Hear hear CommanderEVE! I agree with you about mismatching bios. Some people like to force info together like breaking two jars and putting them together as one jar. I would love to read some of your bios, you sound like a person who knows a fair bit about roleplaying and writing.

Your words will help me loads with Sabine and Artemis' bios when I put them up. MysteryStar might take offence though. I hope she doesn't.

You are very right, Malevora. I do take offence. Implying that my bio is 'Two broken jars put together as one jar' is highly insulting. I will thank you not to be rude like that.

I wasn't talking about this bio, I was agreeing with CommanderEVE's statement. I was not trying to be rude, only to commend CommanderEVE's knowledge on roleplaying. I've just seen "Keep This in Mind," so this is my last comment here.

Sorry this has been such a gigantic pain MysteryStar, but could you please remove the content CommanderEVE indicated as soon as possible?

CommanderEVE, I agree. To make a good bio, you must not rush it together just to make sure that no-one takes the position before you do. You have to think. You have to wait until the fire lights. If you are told to make a fire with flints, and you just cannot do it, you don't go and get matches to light it because you couldn't be bothered trying harder. You persevere, and no matter how long it takes, when the fire lights it is spectacular. Thank you for your inspiring words. You truly are a master of the delicate art of character creation.
When you make a biography of a new character, you are, in my opinion, creating a real person. Somewhere, whether in the recesses of your mind that are unlocked only in dreams, or in another world, or even in the pages of book, this creation is real. You cannot just make it, for that is like God forming a person, breathing life into it, but not bothering to give it spirit because he doesn't feel like it. Imagine how that person would feel. Unloved, incomplete, cursing their creator for how they have been made. This is your owl. You must pour a little of yourself into it.
MysteryStar, you may be ignoring me at the moment because of what I said today, but heed my words. This bio, although nice, lacks a spirit. You can't go around insulting people just because they point out the truth. I know you get on in a few minutes, because before I supposedly got you in detention for 'insulting you and provoking you to yell at me' you told me. Read this, Star. Take it in. You may be leaving GD, but the warrior cats and Pokemon sites you use could use this knowledge.
